Google Launches AI Solutions for Businesses at $30 Monthly

Alphabet-owned company, Google, has announced that it will now offer its artificial intelligence-powered tools to enterprise customers for a monthly fee of $30 per user. This move comes as the company aims to capitalize on the increasing demand and popularity of this technology in the current year.

The price is the same as rival Microsoft’s “Copilot” AI-based office software suite, which includes Teams and Outlook.

Google has stepped up its investment in generative AI this year as it catches up to the technology storm that followed last year’s launch of Microsoft-backed OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Its announcement on Tuesday was made at the Google Next conference in San Francisco, where the company also unveiled a new version of its custom AI chips and a tool for watermarking and identifying AI-generated images.

Google’s new tools include “Duet AI in Workspace,” which helps customers with its applications such as writing in Docs, drafting emails in Gmail, and creating custom visuals in Slides.

“We’ve released this add-on in response to strong customer demand and will continue to improve and expand,” Google said, adding that the tools have been tested by more than a million users.

The company plans to roll out more offers for other customer segments, including small and medium-sized businesses and consumers, in the coming months.
